This month in science we have learned about forces with particular focus on levers. We discovered that levers are simple machines that allow us to lift things. A catapult is a type of lever. In pairs, we designed and created our own catapult using lollipop sticks, glue, blu-tack, cups and skewers. From our observations, we learned that a lever will work only if force is applied to it. We had lots of fun with this experiment.
Hockey began this month. We have been so lucky to get the chance to learn the rules of the game. So far we have learned to place our left hand on the top, the Indian dribble and the glue dribble. We have practiced different types of tackles.
